Email in: 1850 Blood Rodeo [Lamenters]

"Hey Kirby! Some lucky Ebay auctions found me with a surprisingly large portion of your 2000pt Blood Rodeo army. Funny how that happens. I'm planning on doing them as Lamenters at the Fall of Malvolion, where their fast and total loss will repeated many times on my tabletop. One of your other contributors is also doing a Lamenters Blood Rodeo (Smurfy I think? I can't tell all those guys with the Wobbuffet avatars apart) but I had the idea first so I'm not stealing it. Unfortunately the games are invariably at 1850 points here in Florida, so I have to try and find some posisiton between your 1750 and 2000 BR lists. Here's my attempt:

I guess some lucky dude gets a Meltabomb. I basically combined the second Priest and the 5 man ASM squad into the Honor Guard, but I'm not sure if that's totally the right way to go. You've got way more experience with the army than I do, so I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Everyone else is."

 Aye Smurfy is, where ever he do be currently... To the list. Solid core but lacking a bit in FNP/FC bubbles. Whilst the Honor Guard is a good unit and provides both meltaguns and FNP, I think Sanguinary Priests are a better option here. You can drop the HG squad for two more Priests and still have points left over for some combat weapons or pistols (hand flamers or infernous pistols) scattered about. Or you could get just a single Priest and you could get a lot more pistols and combat weapons in the rest of your army. The priests are better in Blood Rodeo than HG because of their mobility. You can keep them hopping around behind your lines to provide FNP/FC bubbles where needed and then charge in with the ASM for WS5 power weapon/LClaw attacks if you wish. The HG is a bit more static as moving 5 guys around needs more space and can't 'hide' in squads.

We'd love to see some WIP shots of your army though. We do like Bikers here :).
