Email in: 1500 SW with thunderbubble

My first email to 3++ *tear*
I art Marshal Wilhelm.
We nearly always play 1500 pts. It's quicker and greenhorns find it easier to play to and provide miniatures, etc.

I like C:SW

I think having a rock unit that is not coming in a Raider can be a cool twist.

The WG Terms advance, firing the 2 CML to get peoples attention. 3 PW and 3 PF/CF will do a decent job in mêlée, whilst the combi-melta and chainfist do the real anti-AV work, with PF back-up.

The Greys and them form a forwards moving block whilst the Fangs and Razor provide back up shooty.

It doesn't bring MM, which could be risky, but hopefully 2 Mg + 3 combi Mg will help, as will 14 Krak missiles and 1 LC and Living Lightning.

This army is not fast, but hopefully the reach of the HW will compensate for that.

I also think the small GH pack is crucial, and don't see it in many lists. Why waste a 10 man pack [with no weapons Rhino] on that? Save the points and have a long-range Razor.

If it is Annihilation, they don't have to Objective sit.

I included the naked WG for a couple of reasons, 1] to get ten WG for the two Term weapons and 2] You are only paying 3 points more than a regular Marine to pad out the Fangs pack and you can even load him up with ap3 hits, etc.

The FenWolves are just spare points. They could run behind the Terms, and rush out come assault time, increasing the anti-grunt killing power [as the Terms don't really have abundant attacks] or follow the GH Rhinos and do the same thing.

Or they could be used for screening a Fangs pack and give them cover [it's not everywhere ya know ^^,]

Or be the bodyguard for the Ld 10 Priest [if he isn't with the Terms or a Fangs pack]

I wouldn't call it Thunderbubble ^^, the Wolf Guard here play a completely different role. What powers do the Rune Priests have? Lightning and Tempest? The Wolf Guard don't all need Terminator armor either. Mixing and matching power armor, storm shields and terminator armor allows you more points to fit elsewhere and some would allocation fun (i.e. put all reg shots on TDA and ap1/2 shots on storm shields, etc.). By dropping the Puppies as well you get even morepoints to play with and would try to give the Fangs RBacks for extra firepower and vehicle saturation.
