"Hey Kirby,

I am looking for some more assistance in a different kind of event.

There is another major tournament coming up in April called Adepticon which I am sure you have heard of. Now I have :P. Anyways, their main event is a team tournament which consists of 4 members each using a 1000 point list. So my team members and I were thinking about playing a dark angels using Sammael and Belial making bikes and terminators scoring units. Games are 2v2 your teammate picked at random. Sammael and Belials ability to adjust the force organization chart apply to all of the 1000 point forces even though they might not be on the table at that same time. The force organization chart is limited to:

Hq are 0-1
Elite are 0-1
Troops are 1-3
Fast are 0-1
Heavy are 0-1

However each player may choose an additional fast, elite, or heavy as long as no one else has. So here are the 4 lists and could it work? We need to figure out which army we should play because we have to buy, built, convert, and paint it all from scratch so the sooner the better!

If you were looking at taking advantage of the Troop section of Dark Angels I'd go with Lists 1 and 2 where you've got both Belial and Sammael though that's a significant chunk of your points allocation gone. I'd then make as many small bike units as possible w/meltaguns/MM to scout lol @ your opponent and deep strike the termies in behind them. Take as many apoths as you're allowed (none in the Belial list it looks like) per each army list and you don't need combat weapons on the Bikes as they are backed up by Terminators.

So perhaps something like this...

5x Deathwing Termie w/CML, Apoth
5x Deathwing Termie w/HFlamer, Chainfist/SS
5x Deathwing Termie w/CML, Chainfist/SS
3x Ravenwing w/2x meltagun

Sammael w/Jetbike
6x Ravewing w/2x meltagun, MM AB, Apoth
3x Ravenwing w/meltagun, flamer, MM AB
3x Ravewing w/meltagun, flamer, MM AB
3x Ravenwing w/2x meltagun

That gives you a lot of scouting melta and can swap in some more flamers if needed backed up by the accurate DSing termies. Not super great but good synergy between the lists + themed which is liked I believe at Adepticon? No Speeders but since your army is up in the opponent's face early on you don't really need them anyway and they will get dropped quickly by the opponent's suppression fire (i.e. mass S7).
