Well it's nice they opened a new store but not really where the opened it. A 20 minute walk from the Battle Bunker on Clarence Street (I'm a fast walker...? lol). I'd like to see a store open up on the Northern Beaches so I don't have to drive 40+ minutes but that's just me you know... Anyone been to this store? Worth going to or just stick with the Battle Bunker when I venture out of my house and consider stepping into a GW store?

Haven't been there, but it seems a bit close to the battle bunker perhaps?
Well, good luck to them none the less! :)

Could be considered close comparatively to how widespread GW is in Sydney.

But there's no way that's 20mins walk. I used to live around the block from the battle bunker and worked around the corner from Miller Tower. Even walking purposefully quickly in cool weather in the most optmised route for traffic lights that was a 40min walk.

Their trading hours seem about right. North Sydney is completely dead outside of business hours. On the face of it a poor location for a store - only really suitable for people who work in North Sydney - but at least you probably won't have hordes of kids in there!

You don't have the new model hover boots do you? I do think they are lacking on the Northern Beaches considering the closest to me are Chatswood/Paramatta/Castle Hill/Hornsby unless I stay at the missus' who lives close to the Miranda store. I'd vote for one at the new Top Ryde shopping center at least if not Macquarie/Warringah... not that I go often ^^.

Somewhere like Macquarie would seem ideal, especially given the university close by.

Macquarie Centre would be brilliant! You'd have all the local high/primary school kids that use the main bus interchange at the centre every week as well as the university across the road. It'd be convenient as for myself also from next semester onwards as I go back to uni at Macquarie again after the semester deferred!

Heh.

Aye Macquarie would be awesome but that would be using their noggin! North Ryde with the new shopping center would be good, too. Very central.

When you go back to Mac Taak, should drop by Vinsanity's place or Hornsby store for some games :P.
