I know most of you don't care about basketball but this is too exciting for me to not post about it. It's playoff time and the Mavs/Blazers series was heralded as the one most likely to go the distance and generate an upset. Game 4 and heading into the fourth quarter it looked like the Mavs had the game. Up 18 points and Blazers playing pretty poor offensively. Enter Brandon Roy, 2009 edition.
8/10 FG, 1/1 FT, 18 points including a 4 point play, 4 assists and 2 rebounds. All in the 4th quarter. He completely and utterly took over the game and it was amazing to see. After the trials and tribulations B-Roy has undergone this season it was great to see him play well and have back to back games where he played well which allowed him to just play freely. After the first two games of the series and the up and down (mostly down) year he's had, it's just fantastic to see him come back and carry his team at a time like this.
Props to B-Roy and Blazers for making it 2-2 now go take one in Dallas!
