"Hi Kirby,
i discovered your blog fairly recently and have to say its fantastic to find a 40k resource that is updated so frequently with solid information and clealy thought out editorials. based on the information i've come up with the folllowing army list annd was hoping you could give it an evaluation. I'm going to be painting the army as howling griffons in their night world scheme as depicted in Imperial Armour 9. I havent been able to find much concrete fluff regarding them apart from an 'abundance of librarians' and a particularly good armoury. fotunately this all plays into the list i wanted to build.

Basic Tactics here, the terminators act as a bubble to the rhinos which in turn act as a buffer to predators. land speeders are on tank hunting duty. I was also planning on scaling the list to 1750 and 2k by adding another rifle dread, land speeder, a 5 man unit of sniper scouts and filling out the terminators to 10 strong so they can be combat squaded. everything is running at pretty much 0 upgrades, so to make things fit at certain point brackets i will be dropping flamers on landspeeders to squeeze in those extra bits. one additional question however. where exactly does a librarian best fit in a list like this?"
That's a solid list within the concept but I might drop a Pred to try and squeeze insome more goodies (i.e. combi-weapons on the Tactical squads and then an extra Terminator). As you move up to 1750-2000 double up the LasPlas, max the Terminators, add another Dread and more Speeders (and the Pred back in if you dropped it) - scouts to taste.
The Libby goes with the Terminators to give them access to a fast movement option. If you're playing against a more defensive minded opponent your Gate them across the board for your opponent to deal with them. If you're playing against an aggressive list you keep them protecting your army list with gate used to get them into midfield and provide movement options for the rest of your army. He's basically the utility required to make the TH/SS work on foot in a mech list.
