3++ is all about playing our hobbies well. We acknowledge, respect and strive to perfect our hobby side as well but this site is geared towards improving gameplay. Whether this is in a hyper-competitive environment or not, the aim of 3++ is the same: to make you a better gamer. To do that however one must first know the basics. Without the building blocks advanced thought patterns are based upon, a lot of holes open up in arguments and confusion arises. And thus the Back-to-Basics article series was born. 3++ has primarily focused on improving the gameplay of more advanced or experienced players whilst relatively ignoring the beginners. Although the Armies in 5th articles on the Basics attempted to cover this somewhat, it was very brief and looked more at army design rather than army tactics. These articles will therefore look at every aspect of 40k and attempt to provide to all players the foundation blocks on which everything else rests.
So to the advanced players: make sure you know this!
And to the beginners: start here!
