Army Stereotypes - From 5th to 6th
Posted by

Following on from the Venomspam article (and the usual Monday I'm in a rush post!) we just did, what other army stereotypes would you like to see transfered from 5th to 6th. Or rather, what armies would you like to see attempted from 5th to 6th. We've done several of the Blood Angel Jumper armies already and discussed a few tangentently but never really got into the meat of them - so hit us with ideas and we'll see if we can't look at a few of the more popular builds from before. Whether they were good or not.
Hint: if the army cannot really add Allies well or didn't get a major boost in what they can do (i.e. Flyers for example), it probably won't transfer well as we saw with Venomspam.

How about Deathwing army with IG as an ally.
How about Templars missile spam.
I would love to see someone look at the Eldar bike council builds. The extreme movement of Eldar Jetbikes and the "turn 5 - I win" tricks of early 5th could be very viable again with a reduced resiliency of tanks.
I would love to see a Kirby-Puppy analysis of what Orks can do in 6th, since it seems to me that all their builds got shaken up a bit.
Is thunderbubble still valid ?
I have been running Nidzilla (17 models at 1500) with some success in 6th and would be interested in your take on it as opposed to general tyranid viability.
Maybe Marines with Blood Angels for the counter assault.
Or Death Wing with Sanguinary Guard. But this might have to wait untill the new codex. Lets just call it Nipples of Death
Necron av13 spam
Sigh *shakes fist at intensedebate*
Don't worry guys, I have all the comments you made saved before it shut down!
lol figured something happened
What about foot tau with sm/eldar allies, or the hybrid tau build, with sm/eldar allies?
