"Hey Kirby, thanks for your response. Its really appreciated. I've been tailoring the list(s) today and I made both a dante list and a double libby list. I've actually taken some of what you've said into account already apparently (the storm shields at least). Why the priest over the honor guard? anyways, tell me what you think of the lists (particularly the double libby one, the Dante list is, well, expensive and not coming together as nice).

"Okay everyone who replied, I took some of your suggestions into consideration. I took Cybernomad's advice to drop one Sanguinary Guard and grab a VV squad, except I dropped 2! and Dallas' advice on the storm shields. So here's my Dante and Libby jump pack lists. I REALLY think the second is pretty solid so far, whereas the first needs help still and may just be ditched.

Glad you've bookmarked it! So Yochanan sent me a PM the other day on Heresy-Online after I made a comment on his Hybrid BA list and has decided to go pure JP. Good idea I think :P. So with the two lists the best one is the second one. The first list isn't taking full advantage of Dante. If you want to use Dante get rid of all ASM and pack in Sang Guard. Otherwise changes would be similar to what I'm going to propose for the 2nd list.
The Libby list is solid but has two many FNP/FC bubbles. 4 is a lot at 2000 and whilst you'll easily always have the bonuses but your opponent will just get rid of your killy stuff to make those bubbles less useful. Whilst Honor Guard squads are great, they are also a huge target with a Blood Chalice, only 5 bodies and multiple meltaguns. They also lose a bit of flexibility in bubble placement (i.e. combat, joining squads, etc.). So for this sized game and since we also want two VV squads, we're going to drop a Honor Guard squad and replace it with a VV squad with Stormshields to tie up units on the drop and give us an anti-super unit (3++. It's the new black). Let's see how many points this sets us back. 125*2 + 185 + 75*2 + 235*3 + 265*3 = 1820 so we need to drop some points. Let's drop an SS off each of the VV squads which gives us 1780 and drop one of the ASM squads down to 5 men w/meltagun, IP, hand flamer and m-bombs which gives us 1685 so we can add some goodies here and there. We'll add a LC to each of the Priests for more combat oopmh (30), an extra meltagun to the HG squad and 2 hand-flamers to the Libbies to give them an anti-horde option. This gives us:
2x Libby w/Jump Pack, Hand-Flamer, Blood Lance, Shield
Honor Guard w/Jump Packs, 3x meltaguns
2x Sang Priests w/Jump Pack, Lightning Claw
10x ASM w/2x meltagun, Thunder Hammer
10x ASM w/2x meltagun, Power Fist
5x ASM, w/meltagun, infernous pistol, hand-flamer, melta-bomb
2x 5x VV w/glaive, 4x SS
Totals: 1750 points
44 Jumpers
This loses a FNP/FC bubble but keeps roughly the same models and adds some redundancy and more combat punch.

I would definately take powerfists on the VV, also even on the HG, couple of SS on the HG wouldn't hurt either.
I think 1 Librarian is enough below 2000 points. Better off making your squads able to take on anything, meaning put powerfists in every squad.
Don't need PFists on the VV or HG as that's not their role. VV are meant to tie up bubble-wrap on the drop and count as a tarpit for a super unit. Whilst PFists let it damage tanks/dreads in combat not really necessary. You can of course put them in since there are points spare in this list but don't skimp on anything else for them.
With HG they are 'fire support' and not for combat at all so you don't want to put them with combat weapons unless you're not running VV but rather Devs. Otherwise you're spending too many points on upgrades.
Double libby means you'll reliably get a cast off each turn against the better psy defenses (Warding & Runic Staff) and you've double lance is pretty awesome. You can run a single Libby but it's not a bad choice.
