Okay guys, looks like we can do the 3++ in place of 3 pip dice so will get those order forms rolling shortly. Want to set it up at the same time for everything else though but we cannot use our old logo - too similar to Kirby for production purposes. Our good friend Goatboy has come up with this for us though:

3++ Merchandise - Take 2

With NOVA fast approaching I've been asked a bit about 3++ t-shirts - pink is the new black after all...? Which goes back to the concept of 3++ merchandise - we did the dice last year which were hugely successful (around 1800 dice total) so we might look into that again!

So here are the questions - we're mainly looking at t-shirts and doing the dice again so some questions to be answered.

Dice...going slowly

I'd like to apologise sincerely to everyone who has ordered dice in the second wave, I know they've been a long time in coming! Unfortuantely the production time took a while and we had to gather up all those last minute orders.

To the current delay... I've had the dice for two weeks now but haven't done much with them - moving apartments does that! I've got them all bagged up and ready to go however, so today I'm heading down to the post office to sign all those annoying custom forms and send them on their way. Being Christmas...well I'm not sure how they'll take but on expects longer than the usual one-two weeks overseas shipping generally takes (<1 week for Australia/New Zealand).

Second Wave of Dice Arrives

Second wave of dice has arrived. Finally! I'll be packing these up over the coming week and hopefully sending them off by Friday. There are some leftovers but I'll have to check what's what as I don't have my files on me currently. If you're interested in getting some let me know via e-mail!

Warmachine Two Player Battle Box & Dice Arrivals

I've gone ahead and pre-ordered the Warmachine two player battle box, yay! Menoth for me and Khador for Vinsanity. I imagine I'll be doing quite a few "look at me I'm new!" articles as we start playing some small games and I imagine Vince might post once or twice about this - don't hold your breath though! I imagine we will only be playing with the battle box contents initially as we learn the ropes and there are several others interested in joining up such as Loriness and others we play 40k with. Again, not a changing of the guard or banishment of 40k but rather an incorporation of another gaming system thanks to our strong disagreement with Games Workshop decisions lately. Plus, it looks fun ^^.

North American Dice Sent

Everyone living in Canada and USA should have their dice within a couple of weeks! Sending the European and Oceania dice tomorrow, poor postal lady, who was very helpful this time around, was overwhelmed. Who knew that sending 20 odd thick letters required about 100 stickers...

Still haven't put second wave order through so still up for sale.

Dice Mailings

I'm currently in the process of putting all the dice orders into envelopes - after a lengthy discussion with the postal lady (where 152g was > 250g and a letter was a parcel) everything is set to go and I will be mailing everything tomorrow.

So, today is your last chance to point out any incorrect mailing addresses ^^. I'm mailing everything to the associated postal address to your PayPal account unless you indicated otherwise. If you believe that address was wrong or wish to confirm your address with me, e-mail me and you can rest assured it shall be sent to the correct place.

It should take roughly 1-2 weeks to reach everyone though I've had things arrived from the US and UK within days of delivery. I will confirm postage tomorrow so if you haven't received your dice three-four weeks from said date, contact me and your local post office and we'll see if we can sort something out.

Remember, this is only for first wave orders. I have yet to place the second wave of dice orders yet so if you still want some, you've got a couple days left. Again, no bags but any amount or color of dice will be available.

Space Wolves & Army Comparisons

With the Imperial Guard codex winding up soon (once I finish the final post and fix up my fail on the first Heavy Support article) and still waiting on VT2 for the Grey Knights codex review, I think it's time to look at Space Wolves. They are regarded as one of the best armies in 40k and whilst flexible within their list design, they have several units which barely see the light of day.

So what issues, or potential army match-ups, would you like to see covered in the Armies in 5th and codex review of the Space Wolves. Obviously looking at internal balance and comparison to the other Marine books will be paramount in these posts but anything else or specific questions can be addressed.

Also, what army comparisons are top in people's minds currently to look at? Any armies not just Space Wolves. I know quite a few people want me to look at Tyranids and Tau atm but specific armies or generic army lists anyone wanted compared? If so put them in the comments here as well.

Also, final call for dice. This will likely be the last time these are ever sold as next batch we are aiming to do the 3++ in place of the three pip so if you want some, do so now. I'll be ordering the 2nd wave my Tuesday (everyone else's Monday usually) so order on the weekend. Any combination of quantity or colors can be ordered at this time but NO DICE BAGS ARE LEFT. Again, all profits go to running of the site, prizes, etc.

Extra Dice

Okay well with the dice arriving there's been a few orders over what I can actually accommodate in the past few days. I can put in another order but I'd need at least 200 dice to get to a point where the prices stay the same and the site isn't losing money. Remember, all profits from this is going to site hosting, 3++ events, prizes, etc. Therefore we need about 100 extra dice to be ordered to reach that point so if people are interested please use the Merchandise link and buy dice or let me know through the comments or via e-mail and we can get something sorted. Obviously the more the better and if we get anywhere near the 200 mark I'll put the order in and if we get over 500, even better.

If you do want to place an order now you can do any advertised color (opaque pink, velvet pink and pink and black - I personally think the velvet pink look best in real life) and any quantity with or without a bag (there are currently 10 bags left). I'll leave this option up until the end of the week but if we don't get near the 200 mark I'll refund anyone who has ordered dice up to this point beyond the stock we ordered the first time around. With only needing about 100 though, three people buying 36 and we're set!

I'll keep this posted updated with numbers needed and thanks again to everyone who has helped out and bought dice. Your contribution helps everyone :).

Dice have Arrived!

Dice have arrived, woot! 1200 16mm with a pretty Kirby logo and they look pretty good en masse. Personal favorites are the black +  pink and velvet pinks (which I think a lot of people didn't think would turn out well). There are still some dice (and bags left) but not many. Black and Pink are currently sold out with 12 opaque pink left and 36 velvet pink. Not much choice there I'm afraid but the Velvet pink do look very nice in my opinion. No dice left but if we get enough orders in now (150+ more dice) I can put another order in. You can see shots below of them. If you are interested in purchasing just velvet dice (and potentially a bag) use the Merchandise link in the top left otherwise e-mail and we can work something out. Below are some pictures for you guys and thanks for the patience. I know it's been a bit longer than we expected but with a large order like this I guess it's to be expected. I should get all orders up to the point of this post mailed out this week and I will send confirmation e-mails as they get sent so look for these guys within the next week or two depending upon where you live!

Dice Bags have arrived

Yay in all their black glory. 50 cuddly and velvet bags have arrived and now just need shiny 3++ dice to go into them before I ship them out!

It seems to attract a lot of dust/fibres sort of thing like many black clothes so...keep them clean! Here's a mass picture...

Dice and Bag Matters

Just a quick update on the Dice & Bags since I've had a few questions about them lately. They are still coming don't worry! but with American holiadys lately plus a lot of custom dice orders around the same time we ordered, there has been a delay. I should hopefully have them within a fortnight so I can get them out to everyone by the end of this month, if not in August. Really sorry for the delay guys, I know how much you want to use them and then curse at me if they suck...

I'll keep you updated when the dice arrive and I start shipping them out :). Again, sorry for the delays!

Dice Order

For those of you whom are unaware, the dice order was placed a while back. Joy I know! 1200 dice were ordered with around 1100 confirmed ordered along with 50 dice bags and 33 confirmed orders so there are a few leftover if anyone is still interested. Two things.

The first is a bit of bad news. Unfortunately the order has been delayed a couple of weeks due to the order size (I think they were only expecting around 500 from us!) and it's looking more like a late June/early July arrival at this point. Sorry! I will do my best to get them to you as quickly as possible never fear.

Secondly, what this means is we got enough numbers to do another order later in the year/early next year for the dice with the actual 3++ on them (which were a minimum of 1000 dice). I won't do this for a while obviously but will remind everyone when the time is nigh to ensure there is enough interest to generate 1000 unit sales. I'll see if we can do colors other than just pink though, so keep in mind what color you might like. I'm still working on other merchandise am such as 3++ objectives and t-shirts as well.

Anyway that's all for now. I should finish up the final two battle reports for Event Horizon this week and then get back to 'regular' blogging as I'm sure many of you are sick of Grey Knights by now :P.

Dice Order & Painting

Has been delayed until early next week, apparently they have closed over the week for Memorial Day or something ^^. If you hadn't put your order in before you can do so now (same with e-mails).

We are also still formulating that letter to send off to Games Workshop though I've noticed a lot of people sending out their own from various sites.

In painting news my Chimera finally arrived today so need to get that painted up quickly and still working on the Grey Knights who are heading towards completion. I don't know how Rupert does an army within a month easily...my poor eyesight!

Dice and Dice Bags - Final Call

I'm going to order all the dice by the end of this week and hopefully the dice bags as well. The dice have reached the minimum number required but we still need about 40 bag sales (yikes) for the same to happen with them. So a few things.

1. If we reach over 800 dice I'll be doing another batch later in the year with the 3++ in place of the 3 but that will only be in an opaque pink and is dependent upon how successful this batch is.
2. If we don't reach the minimum number for the Dice Bags we will either refund the money or provide you with the option to buy the bag at a higher price. Tell people to buy these :P.
3. If you are not paying via paypal or want a specific order not covered by the Shop you must contact me ASAP so I can add your order and arrange payment.
4. A big thank you for the response the dice have gotten :). I will be working on getting the other merchandise interest was generated in (t-shirts and tape measures) and will be ordering some extra dice for surplus stock in case anyone wants more (but not many so put your order in). 

I'll be putting the order in within three to four days to hopefully get them to you by early June and thanks again guys. 

3++ Dice and Bags - Ready to rumble

Okay cherubs, I've got the pricing down for the 3++ dice and dice bags and they are up for pre-sale. You can order them through PayPal and there are three different colors to choose from. There are different quantities you can buy, each one cheaper than the previous in terms of cost per unit with the 36 dice costing 72c a die. Buying dice + bag at the same time also gives you a further price break. Shipping and handling is included within purchase price. ALL PRICES ARE IN AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. PayPal does the conversion rates for you automatically.

3++ MERCHANDISE

There is unfortunately a catch, I'm not ordering these until certain numbers of purchases are reached. I think this should be relatively easy with the dice (around 300 dice or around 11 people buying maximum dice) but with the dice bags...that's another issue. To get the price break I need to order 100 of these guys and I'm not willing to drop that investment until about 60-70 have been sold. If this range is not reached, the bags become $5 more expensive and you as the buyer will be contacted if you would like to purchase it still. If not a refund will be issued for the dice bag.

Dice Mock-up

I've been sent some pictures of the dice mock-up with the Kirbyskull thing on it. Still might be able to get 3++ in place of the 3 with another company but need to order 1000 minimum. Waiting to get their sample die first and we can go from there (would people want both types?). Once it's all decided I'll put up a pre-order page with the more people ordering the more likely they are to get discounts, etc.

P.S. Quiet weekend from me I'm afraid with stuff to do. Hopefully the other authors will pick it up :).

3++ Logo Work

Still working on the 3++ logo for stamping on merchandise with Goatboy and fester's significant help. Here's the recent picture Goatboy has drawn up and some changes with the 3++ text and coloring. The skull + cap could potentially replace the Commissar Hat on the Dice as an outline (though replace the sword with a pointing hand). How would feel about that?

More Merchandise...

Sorry didn't do a post this morning but you were all too busy drooling over having Archnomad back anyway :). So I'm getting closer to getting a dice deal with some companies but still not sure if I'll be getting the 3++ on the three side (still waiting to here from a couple of companies for quotes in that regard). So what I do need is some information on you and I have two questions.

1) If not the 3++ in place of the three, what logo do you want in place of the 1/6? There are two below thanks to Goatboy.

2) What other merchandise do you want?
